Hearing Electronics is an independent manufacturer of bespoke in-ear communication devices and earplugs.
We offer the following services from our Horsham Laboratory:
- Broadcast – custom and standard fit earpieces
- Shooting – custom-fit active hearing protection
- Motorsport – custom-fit communication and hearing protection for drivers, engineers and mechanics
- Aviation – custom-fit aircrew communication earpieces for civil and military aviation
- Leisure – custom made earphones for music, motorcycle communication and hearing protection, swim plugs and sleep plugs
Our UK Team
Jonathan Ormerod is the Managing Director of Hearing Electronics. He has over 28 years experience as a Hearing Aid Audiologist. He is the founder and owner of Hearing Electronics Limited.
Jonathan is ex-military and took part in 2019’s 75th Anniversary commemorative parachute jumps in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Gary Lawrence has 30 years experience designing, manufacturing and modifying earpieces for different industries and uses. He is responsible for the manufacture of all earpieces made by Hearing Electronics. Gary has 10 years experience of taking ear impressions.
Gary loves all things automotive and particularly enjoys working with our Formula 1 racing customers.
Chris Beaken is Finance and Accounts Manager and is based in our Horsham HQ.
Claire O’Connor is our Office Manager. Claire is responsible for the day to day management of Hearing Electronics and is the main point of contact for sales and marketing queries.
Our sister company Hearcentres Ltd. offers a full range of audiometry, hearing aid and wax removal services.
